Giving Tuesday
Did you know that the Sandy-Saulteaux Spiritual Centre holds a sweat lodge ceremony at every solstice and equinox to share teachings and mark the turn of the seasons? More and more groups who visit our space are using the sweat lodge too. People are seeking healing, traditional teachings and connection to culture.
We’re excited to share that we will be building a second sweat lodge here to be able to accommodate this growing interest.
December 3rd is Giving Tuesday and on this day, we invite you to help us raise $1000 for a canvas to cover this new lodge. Whether you have $10 or $200 to share, it all helps!
“GivingTuesday is a global movement for giving and volunteering, taking place each year after Black Friday. The “Opening day of the giving season,” it’s a time when charities, companies and individuals join together and rally for favourite causes. In the same way that retailers take part in Black Friday, the giving community comes together for GivingTuesday.”
