Students carry on tradition of ecumenical gatherings

In July 2019, The Teaching House That Moves Around (put on by the Vancouver School of Theology’s Indigenous Studies Program) came to the Banff, Alberta area for an ecumenical conference with spiritual leaders and youth from various denominations. Sandy-Saulteaux students John and Tony Snow were involved in hosting the gathering, building on the legacy of their parents. Here’s an article from the 1961 High River Times describing camp meetings organized by John Snow Sr. as a United Church student minister in the same area, 58 years ago.
