Engage Difference! Deepening Understanding for Intercultural Ministry
May 9, 2016 - May 13, 2016
Deepening Understanding for Intercultural Ministry (DUIM) is a multi-day program for Christian ministry leaders who seek to nurture vibrant faith communities shaped by cultural relevance, understanding, and awareness.
If you are interested in discovering how to cultivate faithful relationships across difference, gather insights on cultural relevance, and deepen understanding and awareness in your faith community, then this is the perfect program for you. It has practical ideas for implementation in one’s own context, and for ministry leadership.
DUIM is designed and led by a diverse team of trained facilitators with experience in intercultural ministry. Offered by the Canadian Churches’ Forum and shaped, in part, by The United Church of Canada, this program draws on their over 90 years of ecumenical, collaborative experience preparing individuals for ministry and life in intercultural settings.
