This Learning Circle will introduce participants to the history, philosophies, practices, and contemporary relevance of Indigenous traditional healing medicines. It emphasizes respect for Indigenous knowledge systems, cultural sensitivity, and sustainability.

Participants of this Learning Circle will have an opportunity to explore traditional approaches to healing, as well as the nature of health from a wholistic perspective of mind, body, spirit, and emotion. They will be introduced to the way medicines are collected, prepared, and the nature of the relationship between the individual and healer.
