This Giving Tuesday, make a gift to support Indigenous students who are training to be ministers, with the intention of fostering healing and restoration in their home communities.
Our students are committed to becoming the kind of leaders who can work with their community to reclaim their culture and restore a sacred connection to land under the philosophy “all my relations”.
This isn’t an easy road. The good news is that you can help offer rest, encouragement and tools along the way.
Many of our students think of Sandy-Saulteaux as their second home. When they’re here for Learning Circles, they get to:
– take a dearly needed break from the heavy workload in their home communities
– feel supported by their peers, elders and resource people
– connect with the land in ceremony
– learn in ways that affirm who they are as Indigenous people
In less than 2 months we’ll be diving into our next set of Learning Circles: Week 1 = Medicine Wheel Teachings, Week 2 = Indigenous Family Systems & Wellness!
