DESCRIPTION:This course explores storytelling as an ancient art form that helps communities understand their place in the world. Participants will examine Indigenous creation stories and the two creation accounts in Genesis to consider what it means to be human in relation to God\, creation\, and our own times and places. \nAn optional sweat lodge ceremony may be available on June 12 for participants of this course. \nWe welcome guest learners to join our ministry students in this circle. DESCRIPTION:This course provides a holistic exploration of Indigenous children’s spiritual development by integrating cultural traditions\, historical contexts\, and contemporary challenges. Participants will examine core principles of Indigenous spirituality\, including land\, language\, storytelling\, and community\, and consider their role in shaping children’s identity and resilience.
