DESCRIPTION:This course aims to provide students with an increased understanding of the history and experience of aboriginal communities and the effects of the legacy of residential school trauma on the health of aboriginal peoples and communities. Through Aboriginal and Christian teachings as well as current theories on stages of human development\, students are assisted in making healthier choices individually and with community\, while studying human physical\, psycho-social and sexual development\, parenting skills\, and healthy family relationships. \nDownload the registration form.
